Jasmine Wall was born and raised in India. She started doodling at a very young age and art was her favorite thing to do. Encouraged by her parents and teachers, she always entered various art competitions and won many awards while in school.
Jasmine studied Textile Design and Fine Arts in high school and Delhi College of Arts. After moving to Canada with her family in 1996, she continued her education in art with a 3 year associate degree in Illustration at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. She also studied Classical Animation at Max The Mutt Animation school in Toronto, Ontario.
Today she loves to create fun and colorful illustrations. Jasmine works in a variety of media, including ink, watercolor and pencil crayons. She also creates many images digitally in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Jasmine’s work experience includes two children’s books for Scholastic Canada along with several other books for independent authors. She also has experience working as an illustrator/ graphic designer in the gift manufacturing industry for over 10 years. Her love of creating new art and products led her to start a stationery business "The Imagination Spot". Jasmine also has a line of her illustrations licenced to a Canadian souvernir company.
At present, Jasmine works as a freelance Illustrator, Graphic Designer and an entreprenuer.
